Our client, a 23-year-old male was driving at 80 mph, with a .23 blood alcohol level, crossed over a double yellow line and killed another driver. The prosecution wanted our client to serve 6 years in prison and the maximum sentence was 10 years in prison. We conducted an exhaustive investigation including the use of an accident reconstruction expert. After presenting our findings and filing all the appropriate motions, we were able to have our client’s charges reduced and he eventually served 90 months in custody. Our client and his family were thrilled with the results.
